The Gephardt Institute and the Washington University Alumni Association recently co-hosted a special event for over 150 alumni and friends at District Winery in Washington, DC. The program featured remarks and conversation with Former Congressman Richard A. Gephardt and Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer as they reflected on the national political climate – past, present, and future.
Joe Madison (AB ’71), radio host for SiriusXM’s Urban View, moderated a question and answer period, and attendees learned about opportunities for continued engagement at a reception immediately following the discussion.
