The City of East St. Louis works to meet the changing health, welfare, and safety needs of residents through the administration of programs and services. They are seeking a passionate individual dedicated to improving the overall quality of life for residents to serve as a full-time Grant Resource Coordinator through the AmeriCorps VISTA program. This individual will help improve the coordination of grant funding streams for city programs and services. Almost half of the city’s residents live in poverty, and the median household income is well below the national average. The VISTA will work closely with staff to serve the community by researching and coordinating opportunities that will provide funding investments in the community.
