Congratulations to Pat Wang and Merry May Ma, winners of the Gephardt Award in the Civic Life Project’s Democracy Youth Film Challenge! Their documentary, “Beyond Voting: What Voting Means to the LGBTQ Community” will be screened along with additional film challenge winners at Stix House on Sept. 21 at 5:30 p.m. After an informal discussion about the subject matter, we’ll also be tuning into the Civic Life Project’s national awards ceremony to watch more award winning films.
