Bio:
Nicholas Fandos is a national reporter for The New York Times, based in the Washington bureau. He has covered Congress since 2017 and is part of a team of reporters who have chronicled investigations by the Justice Department and Congress into President Trump and his administration. Over the last year, he helped lead The Times’s coverage of the impeachment of Donald J. Trump, and has previously reported on Veterans Affairs and the Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Fandos joined The Times in 2015 as an intern.

He grew up in St. Louis, and went to high school just across Forest Park at St. Louis University High School. He graduated with a degree in history and literature from Harvard, where he was the editor of The Harvard Crimson.
