Walk and Talk Wednesdays are a weekly opportunity for both undergraduate and graduate students to engage in civic dialogue with their peers. From 3:00-5:00PM each Wednesday afternoon, students can sign up for a designated time to meet with a fellow student outside of the Gephardt Institute/Stix House (6470 Forsyth Blvd).
Students will be paired up to ‘walk and talk’ about “big questions” like: Who is a part of your community? How do we disagree with one another? Each pair will also receive a brief guide with tips on how to engage in intentional listening and the differences between debate and dialogue. At the end of the walk, students can return to Stix House for a hot beverage and snack to go!
