Exemplifying Washington University’s mission to prepare students for lifelong service and leadership, National Council member Kurt Summers (BU 00) was recently named treasurer of the City of Chicago.
“Kurt Summers has the experience, the values, and the integrity we need of everyone who holds public office,” Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said in a statement. Kurt is expected to draw upon nearly 15 years of experience within the financial services community and in public service.
