Children’s Adaptive Triathlon

Tri My Best Children’s Adaptive Triathlon

The Tri My Best Adaptive Triathlon began in St. Louis in 2015. It is a collaboration between St. Louis Children’s Hospital’s Carol and Paul Hatfield Cerebral Palsy Sports and Rehabilitation Center, Washington University’s Athletic Complex, Synapse, Triathlon Clubs, and several additional supporters.

In 2015, 40 athletes with motor disorders participated, and in 2016, the number increased to 65 athletes. There were over 350 volunteers at the 2016 Tri My Best Triathlon, helping make the event a great success to get people with motor disorders moving! Kids of all abilities swam, biked, ran, wheeled, and pushed to the finish line. Along the way, several hundred volunteers supported and cheered them on.
