Synapse

Synapse is Wash U’s undergraduate neuroscience interest group. We offer a variety of volunteering activities within the St. Louis community ranging from assisting people with ALS and their families to visiting K-12 schools and educating students about neuroscience with fun activities. Synapse also strives to bring neuroscience to the Wash U community by hosting a variety of events throughout the year. We feature Wash U researchers who discuss their cutting edge projects, panels of Wash U MDs who speak about their career paths and answer questions, and provide shadowing opportunities for Wash U students. Synapse offers a variety of opportunities for the Wash U community to engage with neuroscience and share it with the greater St. Louis area!
