K-12 Ambassadors serve as the student leadership team to support the K-12 Connections program.

Ambassadors play critical roles in welcoming and assisting visiting students while also serving as role models for younger students gaining exposure to college life. K-12 Connections typically hosts 10-15 field trip experiences per semester, and K-12 Ambassadors volunteer as many hours as their schedules permit. Volunteer roles include offering campus tours, escorting students between campus buildings, eating lunch with students, facilitating small group discussions, and assisting with special activities – both on and off campus. In addition, K–12 Ambassadors meet regularly to plan all events and to learn about K-12 educational needs and issues in the St. Louis area.
