Nichole Murphy

Community Engagement Coordinator

With responsibilities for the development and implementation of communications, resources, procedures, workshops, and events that help facilitate the creation of healthy, ethical, and reciprocal relationships and partnerships with the St. Louis community, Nichole integrates best practices into community engagement across the university.

Nichole recently completed the Master of Social Work program at Washington University’s Brown School with a concentration in domestic social and economic development and specialization in system dynamics. She also received her undergraduate degree in history and anthropology with a minor in architecture from Washington University.

Although originally from Edgewood, MD, Nichole considers St. Louis home. Much of her free time is dedicated to community engagement and development efforts in the historic Ville Neighborhood. She is passionate about social justice, buying books (and eventually reading them), and breakfast food.
