Makita Hill

Makita Hill serves as Leadership Program Manager with FOCUS St. Louis. In the role, she manages three civic leadership programs and provides support for civic engagement initiatives and FOCUS events.

Makita brings experience in both local and state government, serving with the City of St. Louis Treasurer’s Office, Missouri Commission on Human Rights, and Office of Missouri Governor Jay Nixon. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and minor in public policy administration from Truman State University, and a Master of Public Policy Administration from University of Missouri-St. Louis. Makita is a native of St. Louis and is personally and professionally committed to positively impacting the region.
