Sydney Kim, she/her

Sydney Kim (She/her) is the Marketing and Communications Assistant at the Gephardt Institute. She writes the weekly Opportunities Newsletter, assists with management of the Gephardt’s website, and supports Gephardt undergraduate programming. She is majoring in Political Science and Finance and will graduate with the Class of 2027.

Sydney is excited to be working with the Gephardt during a pivotal election cycle, and she is looking forward to contributing to student civic engagement initiatives on campus! Drawn to the intersection between government and business, Sydney hopes to one day consult on political campaigns as well as work on transportation and infrastructure policy. 

Outside of her work with Gephardt, Sydney serves as a Treasury Representative in Student Union and as the Vice President of Communications in WashU’s Asian American Association. In her free time, she loves museums, trying new restaurants, and playing the drums.
