Although the Gephardt Institute will not be hosting March blood drive on campus, eligible donors are encouraged to give at permanent blood donor locations across the country.
There is currently an ongoing critical need for donations of lifesaving blood and platelets. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, blood drives continue to be canceled at an alarming rate and patients need a sufficient blood supply throughout this crisis and beyond. Healthy individuals are needed now more than ever to schedule an appointment to give in the days and weeks ahead.
Where to give:
- Mississippi Regional Valley Blood Center: Regional locations (Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin)
- American Red Cross: Nationwide locations

Blood banks have taken measures to ensure the health and safety of donors, including temperature screenings, distancing donor beds, and extra sanitation.
