Nicole Chen

Nicole Chen ’24 is a Fox-Clark Civic Scholar from Los Angeles, California. She double majored in psychology in the College of Arts & Sciences and economics & strategy in the Olin School of Business, and minored in creative practice for social change in the Sam Fox School of Art. She is interested in DEI, racial disparities, and community-engaged design.

Nicole spent her Civic Summer working with Missouri’s Office of Equal Opportunity to support minority and women-owned businesses. She created and distributed a survey, ran focus groups, established partnerships with St. Louis nonprofits, and produced a resource guide for businesses.

After graduation, Nicole will be working at the Gateway Arch Park Foundation with a focus on DEI, events, and stewardship.
