TEDxWUSTL is an entirely student-organized TED-like conference that takes place here at WashU. The goal is to celebrate TED’s mission of “ideas worth spreading,” and this year’s event will take place on April 18, 2020.
This event features a small number of speakers with innovative, thought-provoking ideas about topics they are passionate about. Talks can encompass a broad range of subjects and it is the organizers’ hope that all attendees will come away from the event having considered new perspectives, engaged in deep discussion, and fostered connections among the community.
TEDxWUSTL is currently searching for driven, dedicated, and passionate WashU students to share their ideas by speaking at this year’s event.
The application closes at 11:59pm PST on Friday, January 24. If your application is selected to move forward in the process, you’ll be invited present a short (2-3 minute) elevator pitch to the TEDx Exec Board.
