The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA), the leading nonprofit supporting those affected by eating disorders, is committed to building communities of hope, strength, and healing. Since there is a pause on large in-person gatherings, NEDA is going virtual with events – because we need community now more than ever. We’re excited to announce that we’re hosting the virtual Midwest NEDA Walk on October 10, 2020 at 11am CT.
As you may know, eating disorders are life-threatening illnesses that are extremely prevalent on college campuses. They do not discriminate against gender, age, race, size, sexual orientation, ability, or background. It is so important for students to be aware of this critical cause, one that only escalates during times of high anxiety and stress. In addition, this is a great opportunity for students to stay connected to others and participate in a morning of hope, inspiration and support. The virtual NEDA Walk will feature special guest speakers, a live Q&A, giveaways, and more!
