Artist Statement

Every vote matters, but how do we engage our community to embrace their own importance ? As a part of Gephardt’s civic action week the community was invited to spend a moment engaging and making their own poster to help promote the civic action of voting. I designed a series of laser cut stencils centered around voting that could be layered and played with to make the conversation around voting exciting. It was a “little” action but even if a few people were inspired to vote, that is all that truly matters!
