In honor of their 40th class reunion, members of the WashU Class of 1979 launched the Spirit of ’79 Challenge. The goal of the challenge is to expand our democracy by encouraging fellow citizens to register to vote through nonpartisan efforts. Alumni from the class of ’79 are working voluntarily to visit several states over the next year, including FL, NC, PA, WI, OH, and MN.
Spirit of ’79 Challenge organizers are looking for a volunteer intern to help support coordination, communications, and web development to encourage engagement of other alumni.
