Dylan Mack ’24 is a Bob & Gerry Virgil Civic Scholar from Waterloo, Iowa. He is majored in systems engineering and minored in sociology and computer science .

For his Civic Summer, Dylan worked with Cure Violence Global (CVG), a public health-based violence prevention non-profit, as a data science intern. He focused on improving CVG’s Risk, Need, and Resilience survey, making recommendations for policy changes based on statistical insight and building software tools for the organization.

After graduation, Dylan plans to pursue his M.S. in Engineering Data Analytics & Statistics at WashU.
