Experience one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in St. Louis by public transit! AccessSTL will be guiding a tour of South Grand from WashU via a MetroLink to MetroBus connection. Students will have the chance to split up into groups and explore different landmarks on and around South Grand, Tower Grove Park, and the Botanical Gardens. The funds provided will be used to allow each student to purchase a food or drink item from a vendor along South Grand or use at the Botanical Gardens ($6 for STL city residents). Check out spots like Steve’s Hot Dogs, The Gelateria, Terror Tacos, MoKaBe’s Coffeehouse, Poke One, etc.   

Transportation Details:  

• Departing: 12:41 Eastbound MetroLink blue line from the University City-Big Bend station, 12:52 arrival at Grand Transit Center. 12:59 departure from Grand Transit Center on 70 Grand MetroBus to Grand @ Juniata SB. 
• Returning: 3:11 MetroBus from Grand @ Juniata NB —> 3:30 eastbound MetroLink blue line from Grand Transit Center. 
• Make sure you have your UPass for free Metro rides! 

What is Civic Action Week?

From Feb. 17-23, 2025, Civic Action Week will highlight civic engagement opportunities throughout Washington University.
