Engage STL Days are a way for WashU students to get off campus and get to know various neighborhoods throughout St. Louis. Each Engage STL Day is an immersive experience in which students get to hear from community partners and visit local businesses, landmarks, and organizations.

From South Grand to The Ville, Cahokia Mounds to Downtown—the communities of the Greater St. Louis region each hold unique histories, challenges, and opportunities. Engage STL Days offer undergraduate, graduate, and professional students the opportunity to learn from St. Louis community members and deepen their connections within the region.

Engage STL Days:

  • are offered during three weekends each semester.
  • are designed to accommodate 20 to 25 students and are four to five hours long.
  • incorporate three or four destinations, each with a community or organization speaker, event, landmark, and/or meal.

RSVPs are required, which allows us to give an accurate number of visitors to our community partners. For more information about upcoming Engage STL opportunities, please check back here or look out for opportunities to RSVP on our Instagram at @WashUGephardt.
