Walk and Talk Wednesdays are a weekly opportunity for both undergraduate and graduate students to engage in civic dialogue with their peers. From 3:00-5:00 PM each Wednesday afternoon, students can meet to discuss reflection questions with another student.
Walk and Talk Wednesdays are typically hosted at Schnuck Pavillion. For September 8th only, please meet at Stix House (6470 Forsyth Blvd).
Students will be paired up to ‘walk and talk’ about “big questions” like: Who is a part of your community? How do we disagree with one another? Questions often vary from week to week.
Each pair will also receive a brief guide with tips on how to engage in intentional listening and the differences between debate and dialogue. At the end of the walk, students can return for a beverage and snack to go!
Check out the Walk and Talk Conversation Guide.
*Wednesday Walk and Talk is an outdoor event. All participants must follow campus public health guidelines, including completing the daily screening, wearing a mask, and maintaining appropriate social distance.*
