Needed items include:
- Eye protection, including face shields and goggles (glasses are not effective)
- N-95 respirator masks
- Masks
- Gloves
- Gowns
Items to be donated should be labeled clearly and left in lab spaces. Learn more and fill out the form here.
The CDC states that, in a shortage, homemade masks can be used as a last resort. With many hospitals concerned about running short on supplies, individuals can sew and donate homemade masks. Students at UC Berkeley have created this list of hospitals across the country that are accepting donations of hand-sewn masks. Please check whether your desired facility has requested a specific pattern. Example patterns are provided in the document linked above.
