Leave It To Us – Fee Free Senior Citizen Shopping is a nonprofit that aims to help the most vulnerable during COVID-19 quarantine get needed groceries or pharmacy items safely. Volunteers retrieve groceries, then go to older adults’ homes and swap the groceries for payment, which is placed in a secure location on the porch. Volunteers then call the recipient to let them know their groceries have been delivered. Through this process, older adults can stay in their homes and have less possible exposure to the coronavirus.
