Our Names, Our Stories (ONOS) is a one-hour production hosted by the Center for Diversity and Inclusion during Bear Beginnings that highlights the values of our campus, specifically those related to fostering a supportive, diverse, and inclusive community to our incoming students. The production centers four student stories representing the intersections of identities and experiences before and during college. Following, students spend time by residential floor sharing their reflections on the production, engaging in learning about social identities, and sharing aspects of their identities and experiences with their peers.
Students can get involved in three ways:
- Directing the production (Apply by March 6): All students welcome (grad and undergrad), need to be a returning student August 2020
- Writing a story submission highlighting their experiences (submit by March 15): 750 word count, all students welcome (grad and undergrad)
- Acting in the production (apply by March 22): all students welcome (grad and undergrad), need to be a returning student August 2020
