Amelia Letson is a John & Mary Jo Crosby Civic Scholar from Miami, FL, in the class of 2025. She is also a Mosbacher St. Louis Fellow majoring in Political Science and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and minoring in Writing, in the College of Arts & Sciences.

She is interested in meaningfully advocating for social justice in the areas of reproductive rights, voter accessibility, economic equity, and broad civic and community engagement.

Amelia interned at Abortion Access Missouri where she supported the organization’s rebrand, mapped crisis pregnancy centers across the state, and created a legislative scorecard for Missouri politicians. 

WashU Votes Co-Chair

She has been part of the WashU Votes executive board since her freshman year and is excited to begin her second term as Co-Chair. She has worked both on campus and within the St. Louis community to advocate for reproductive freedom and voting rights.
