Autumn Dennis, they/them

Autumn Dennis (they/them) is the Digital Communications Specialist at the Gephardt Institute. Autumn joined the institute in July 2024 and works in content creation, digital communications, graphic design, storytelling, and branding.  

After 13+ years in small nonprofits, Autumn came to WashU in May 2023, where they coordinated the communications and brand of the Department of Political Science. Across their career in nonprofits, they have a diverse skillset gained from prior professional experiences managing social media, livestream/AV production, hybrid technology, nonprofit creation, program management, freelance writing and publishing, homeless outreach and advocacy, urban hospital chaplaincy, and community organizing. 

Autumn is a graduate of Martin Methodist College (BS ’14), Vanderbilt University Divinity School (MTS ’16), and Eden Theological Seminary (MDiv ’20). While a proud Nashville native, Autumn has called South City STL home since 2017. When not playing with spreadsheets for fun, they enjoy playing roller derby, powerlifting, gardening, and traveling with their partner.
