Chelcie Crutch

Chelcie Crutch is a Kleinhandler Civic Scholar from Glen Burnie, MD majoring in global cultural studies in the College of Arts & Sciences with a minor in Studio Art from the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts. She spent her civic summer working for two non-profit organizations dedicated to criminal justice reform: Vera institute of Justice and Justice Arts Coalition. Vera institute of Justice is an organization dedicated to reasearch and policy reform to help transform the criminal legal system. Justice arts coalition is an organization that shares the art and writing of individuals who have been incarcerated to spread awareness through a creative lens on the effects of mass incarceration.
