Jahselyn Medina

Jahselyn Medina is a Bob and Gerry Virgil Civic Scholar from Los Angeles, CA double majoring in Political Science and Spanish in the College of Arts & Sciences. During her Civic Summer, she partnered with Strategic Actions for a Just Economy (SAJE), where she worked on a project aimed at preserving South LA’s small businesses. She connected small business owners through canvassing and facilitating tenant’s rights workshops. She also interned for the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisor Hilda L. Solis at the East Los Angeles District Office.
