Jasmine Yang

Jasmine Yang ’24 is a Lois & Bert Neighbour Civic Scholar from Seattle, Washington. She is majored in neuroscience and minored in music in the College of Arts & Sciences.

For her Civic Summer, Jasmine worked on a project centered on disability advocacy within a medical sphere. She partnered with the St. Louis Arc to explore this intersectionality even further and has created a blog about her experience and research. She hopes the blog will help spread awareness about the disparities in healthcare for individuals with disabilities.

After graduation, Jasmine plans to attend medical school.
