John Beuerlein
GB77 Interim President, Drury University
John Beuerlein, GB77, is a retired partner for Edward Jones in St. Louis. He earned an MBA from Washington University in 1977 and a CFA from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts in 1981. He is a former trustee of Washington University and past president of the Eliot Society. He was recognized with a Distinguished Alumni Award at Washington University’s 2009 Founders Day.
Beuerlein is a past member of the board of governors of the St. Louis Society of Financial Analysts. He and his wife Crystal are alumni of Drury University, where he served as a trustee from 1991-2011. He served on the investment committee of Drury’s Board of Trustees and was Chairman of the Board from 2006-2010. He was elected Emeritus Trustee of Drury University in 2011.
Beuerlein was inducted in Drury’s Breech Hall of Fame in February of 2008, received their Distinguished Alumni Award in 2011, and was awarded the Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Drury in 2013. He and Crystal have three children: Sara, Robin, and Jonathan.
