Nicole Lukens

Nicole Lukens is a Fox-Clark Civic Scholar from Jacksonville, Florida, majoring in Psychology and Global Studies in the College of Arts & Sciences. For her civic summer, Nicole interned at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) in their Houston office. KIND, a preeminent international nongovernmental organization, provides legal representation and social support to unaccompanied immigrant children. She supported KIND’s legal team through tasks like conducting legal screenings, writing certified translations, and putting together USCIS benefit relief packets.
