Pat Wang

Pat Wang ’24 is a Seiden Family Civic Scholar from Duluth, Georgia. He majored in biology and anthropology and minored in film in the College of Arts & Sciences. He is interested in exploring how media representation can be used to inspire compassion and to combat issues like health inequities.

For his Civic Summer, Pat partnered with Human Rights Campaign Foundation, focusing on improving LGBTQ+ inclusion through policy changes within St. Louis-based long-term care homes. He also worked on an op-ed capturing different industry/community voices and will be working on a documentary sharing the stories of queer elders.

After graduation, Pat will be attending the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
