BEAR leaders support the Bear Beginnings orientation program by leading 15-18 first-year students through one of a choice of themes during the Immersive Experience Program (IEP), which provides first-year students the opportunity to develop their community by engaging on and off campus in a three day small group experience. Themes include Arts Under the Arch, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Engage STL, and Leadership. Additionally, BEAR leaders will assist in the implementation of the Campus Life at WashU (CLAW) evening series, providing small and large scale programs/events for students to engage in.
