No dates for this event
Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum

The transformational power of the arts can be a dynamic means for how citizens engage in civic dialogue, community expression, and disruption of injustice. Join us as our 2019 Arts as Civic Engagement student residents and partner arts organizations illustrate their work through a creative presentation followed by a reception.

Partner organizations are the Griot Museum of Black History and Culture, the Shakespeare Festival St. Louis, and the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis.

The event will include a conversation with St. Louis-based artist and activist Damon Davis, guided by Adrienne Davis (William M. Van Cleve Professor of Law; Vice Provost; Executive Director, Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity & Equity).
