4:00 pm
Stix House, 6470 Forsyth Boulevard, Clayton, Missouri 63105 (United States)

Join us for a two-part series on Community Engagement. This training is intended for WashU students.

The two, 2-hour sessions will be focused on developing community partnerships that are mutually beneficial, considering how social identities and systemic inequities affect community engagement and understanding a strengths-based perspective. Students will be invited to reflect on how their particular student group is responding to systemic inequities, evaluate their community partnership, and be introduced to tools to align group values with the ways in which the group engages.

  • Session #1: Wednesday, October 27 from 4-6pm
  • Session #2: Wednesday, November 3 from 4-6pm
