WashU Graduate and Professional Students Votes (WUGPV) is a nonpartisan group of graduate and professional students at Washington University in St. Louis. The formation of this group was motivated by National Study of Learning, Voting, and Engagement (NSLVE) data on civic engagement behaviors of Washington University students which indicated lagging civic participation rates amongst graduate and professional students. WUGPV aims to address this by providing an organizing space for graduate and professional student to develop and implement peer-led initiatives that specifically encourage civic participation among their peers.
We will be holding a General Body Meeting on Thursday, March 28 @ The Graduate Center (Basement of the Women’s Building). All WashU graduate and professional students are welcome. Snacks will be provided!
