Juvenile Detention Center

The youths at the St. Louis City Juvenile Detention Center are normal teenagers that have faced obstacles in their childhoods. Our mission is to help return a sense of normalcy to their lives. We bring board games, listen to music and chat with the teens. It is such an amazing feeling to brighten their days, even if its just by playing their favorite board game or singing along to their favorite song. On special occassions we bring some delicious treats and once a year we are invited to watch their talent show and attend a volunteer appreciation dinner.
