Colleen M. Watermon, she/her

Colleen Waterman (she/her) serves as the Director of Development. In her role, she coordinates fundraising efforts and activities to support both new and existing programs at the Institute. Working closely with Gephardt staff, alumni relations, and the greater St. Louis community, Colleen works to sustain our initiatives while also being receptive feedback.

Colleen spent the majority of her fundraising career in higher education. Prior to joining Washington University, Colleen served as the Senior Major Gifts Officer at St. Louis College of Pharmacy where she played a key role in the College’s first capital campaign raising more than $25 million. She began her career at the University of Missouri-St. Louis working on all aspects of advancement, including annual fund, major gifts, stewardship and cultivation team, constituent manager, and executive director of the Alumni Association.

Colleen earned her undergraduate degree at Quincy College and her MA from Webster University. She and her family live in mid-County and actively participate in all St. Louis has to offer.
