Elisabeth-Monique (Elmo) Tossa

Elmo Tossa ’24 is a Dr. Margaret A. Olsen & Dr. Joseph N. Marcus Civic Scholar from Eden Prairie, Minnesota. She double majored in African and African American studies and Spanish, and minored in psychology in the College of Arts & Sciences.

Her Civic Summer consisted of facilitating a grief healing space for young adult BIPOC folx through a weekly shared meal, as well as creating a working resource manual in relation to grief support.

After graduation she hopes to travel, volunteer, and work with a non-profit.
