Hudson, class of 2023, is from Peoria, IL, and majoring in philosophy-neuroscience-psychology with an emphasis in cognitive neuroscience and anthropology: global health and environment in the College of Arts & Sciences. He cites community engagement as being the backbone of his education. He noted that his mother has instilled in him the belief that “to much is given, much is expected,” so he feels he must give back to community after being given so much in his life. He established a 5K run for kids experiencing food insecurity. He also served as the Regional Teen President for the Central Region of Jack and Jill of America. He was responsible for overseeing sixteen chapters during his junior year of high school. Hudson is a Public Policy fellow, supervised byJerry Dowell.
