Keona Dordor

Keona is a Fox-Clark Civic Scholar from Ghana and Tennessee. She is majoring in urban studies, and double minoring in religious studies and writing in the College of Arts & Sciences. Her Civic Summer was spent with Greenwood Cemetary Preservation Association, a historic Black Cemetary. She worked to document tombstone locations, engage with library and museum archives to revive stories, and stage maintenance events. She is currently working on a long-form journalism piece about the preservation efforts, the people buried at Greenwood, and their family members who discover their loved ones are located there and seek to pay their respects.
