Lori Davis develops strategies to improve service to and increase engagement among communities of color. She develops and manages partnerships with capacity builders, community foundations and other aligned organizations to ensure effective completion.
Recent highlights includes:
New York City Mayoral Transition Team – Led transition activities and agency reviews for several city agencies. Provided suggestions regarding the timing of executing on the Mayor Elect’s Public Safety agenda. Identified key deliverables achievable in the first 100 days of the new Administration. Worked with Transition Team members to develop plans for the implementation of the Mayor’s public safety policy platform.
The Choose Healthy Life Black Clergy Action Plan is a sustainable, scalable and transferable approach centered around the Black Church – the oldest and most trusted institutions in the Black community – to address public health disparities. Worked with partners to develop and execute the Plan to raise awareness, educate the community, and most importantly provide access to COVID-19 testing for high-risk communities through the Black church. Expanded the Choose Healthy Life network into a national network of partners and regional staff.
2020 Census – Led the Archdiocese of New York’s effort to build a citywide network of community based partners, capacity builders, community foundations and other aligned organizations focused on increasing participation in the 2020 Census among hard to count populations and communities of color.
Lori has a B.A. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She has over 20 years of corporate experience and a proven track record of success launching new products, creating and driving marketing and business development strategies for major global brands. Known for creative leadership driving productivity and fostering success.
