Pat Wang

Concern and Awareness Fellow

Pat, class of 2024, is from Atlanta, GA, and majoring in anthropology: global health and environment, with possible minors in biology and film and media studies in the College of Arts & Sciences. As a writer, he wants to use his pen to amplify the voices of marginalized and underrepresented communities. He founded the literary journal Ephimiliar so that all students and writers might have a place to express their stories. He has taken an active role in volunteering with the Atlanta Community Food Bank, returning every year for the last three years to volunteer. He is interested in bringing more awareness to Alzheimer’s and dementia caregivers by writing their stories, and he plans on attending medical school through the University Scholars program. Pat is a Concern and Awareness fellow, supervised by Peggy Killian.
