Talia Stein

Talia Stein (she/her) is a St. Louis Impact Fund Intern at the Gephardt. Talia is currently in her fourth year of undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis, and she’ll be graduating in Spring 2024 with a Bachelor of the Arts in Global Studies, International Affairs and a minor in Legal studies.

She was drawn to Gephardt because due to her heavy engagement in the St. Louis community since arriving freshman year. She loves St. Louis and currently works with Solidary Economy STL, the International Institute of St. Louis, and Sigma Iota Rho International Studies Honorary. She thinks we are all responsible for engaging in the communities we are a part of and working to enrich both ourselves and our neighbors through thoughtful and mutually beneficial engagement, and is excited to be a part of Gephardt’s efforts to do just that. 

She is passionate about environmental policy and immigration law and hope to work in those fields in the future to pave better lives for those worst impacted by harmful governmental and industrial actions.

In her free time she enjoys photography, fostering cats, and art of all kinds.
