Victoria Meza
Graduate Assistant for Community Engagement
Victoria Meza (she/her/hers) is a Graduate Assistant for Community Engagement at the Gephardt Institute where she assists in coordinating Engage STL and the St. Louis Fellows programs. Currently, she is a first year Master of Social Work student at the Brown School and will graduate in Spring 2025. As a Kathryn M. Buder Center Scholar, she is focused on strengthening American Indian/Alaskan Native communities. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in art from Brigham Young University.
As an enrolled member of the Navajo nation, she is passionate about working with Native communities. Before coming to St. Louis, she worked with Native-led organizations, American Indian Services and the Urban Indian Center of Salt Lake. She was also a fellow through Art Access Utah for their Embodied Ecologies installation. Through her work at Gephardt, she hopes to continue to learn how to collaborate with community organizations and cultivate positive relationships in sustainable ways.
Outside of school, Victoria enjoys art, running, and building community with fellow K-pop enthusiasts.
